HMQ & HME, with marimbist Jenny Klukken and band, will host a virtual winetasting and night of lovely marimba tunes at Studio Z in St Paul, MN, on February 25. They all will then perform at The Well Church in Rosemount, MN on the 26th, joined by Korey Barrett (piano).

HMQ continues on tour performing at DeKalb High School, DeKalb, IL, and with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra.

TBA – Matthew visits Decatur, IL with Clare Longendyke (piano) to perform with the percussion studio (Jeremy Brunk, director) at Millikin University and to present tunes from the Berkhout Bar Music Project.

Matthew and composer, Bjorn Berkhout are bringing back the Bar Music band from the 2000s!

With Matthew on dulcimer, Sarah Manasreh on clarinet, Clare Longendyke on piano, Chris Wild on cello, and Jeremy Brunk on vibraphone, they are launching the long awaited project of recording two albums worth of Bjorn’s energetic, euphoric, and magnetic music.
