Matthew is a musician in the Chicago area.  He has a background that covers a enormous scope of experiences, and he is performing all of the time.  Matthew can be seen in solo marimba and percussion concerts, contemporary chamber music performances, orchestral concerts, multi-media and dance collaborations, hammer dulcimer and cimbalom appearances, as well as occasionally conducting, composing, or playing folk music.


Matthew spent a week in 2008 in Chisinau, Moldova performing a concerto with the Teleradio Symphony Orchestra and presenting master-classes.  He is published by Innovative Percussion, endorsed by Vaughncraft Percussion, an Illinois Arts Council Artstour Roster Artist, and Founding Director of SONIC INERTIA and the Sonic Inertia Concert Series.
